Columbia Sportswear Wildcard Jacket - Waterproof Soft Shell (For Men)

After about an hour in the rain this coat does wet through, so if you're looking for something waterproof this isn't it. If you are looking for something for light rain or for use in snowsports you will be fine with this coat

I'm 6'2" and 235 lbs. I ordered the XL. The arm legth was OK but the body section was huge, even with a bulky sweater underneath. I sent it back. The material and construction seemed fine.

I was looking for a waterproof lightweight jacket to have in my pack if the weather should turn wet, as it often does in the Pacific Northwest. This jacket is far too substantial for that. I will keep it because it is such a fine coat for the price, but I will keep looking for the light weight jacket.

I purchased this product for my son without his approval and he simply loves this jacket. I'm so impressed with this purchase I want one for myself. Truly a great buy for yourself or a gift. It's fashionable with a sure shot means to keep you warm,no matter what region you're in. To me this jacket is not a purchase it's an investment, you'll never regret putting your money on.

Very well made and exceptionally great looking. All my friends commented on how well this jacket looks. I was actually after a lighter jacket so while this is not exactly what I want, I am still keeping it. The jacket is quite heavy so not ideal for the extremely active but okay for a hike. Surprisingly it is also quite warm. The light reflective colour makes you more visible at night which I find to be a useful safety feature. The pockets are plentiful, the zips fit well and are strong. Unfortunately while the hood is removable it does not roll up into the jacket. The small removable skirt does not make much of a difference, so I leave both the skirt and hood at home to minimise the weight. I ordered an XL and it is just slightly larger than my other XL jackets, but still quite ok and ideal for layering.

Great Jacket. The first day I got this it was the first sub 30 deg. of the year. layered over a sweatshirt it could have been 0 deg. and I'd have been fine. I walked around the block while it was 25 deg with just a tshirt underneath and was warm. Weatherproof, Nice looking, very sporty. Lots of pockets. Not bulky at all. Feels durable, well made. My favorite winter jacket ever!

I thought this was a long shot, both because of the orange color and because I thought it might be too sporty for casual wear. It's very lightweight and comfortable, surprisingly warm in damp cold conditions, and better than I expected overall.

I liked the look of the jacket and felt good so I bought it, I had no idea I would love it so much! I've never got so many complements on jacket, no to mention a piece of clothing! I get too warm inside with it on but otherwise it is PERFECT. I would recommend this jacket to everyone and even considered getting another if this one ever wore out.

I have had one of these jackets for 2 years already, I saw them on STP and decided to get a few more for the coming years.
