The fabric is great at keeping out the wind. Tested these pants with light base layer in temps around 0 and stayed warm. The cut of the pants, however, isn't what I expected. I'm high-waisted and the rise of these is way too low - and drafty at the waist.

I wanted to love these. They are really cute on, the low waist and wide waistband is very flattering and comfortable however because there is no drawstring or other way to secure the waist, they stretched out really quickly and I spent the entire hike trying to pull them up. And, yes, they are pretty noisy too.

Great basic stretch pants. They are extremely wind proof, but not especially breathable. They are perfect for any outdoors activity, and make a super warm base layer.

I love these pants. The description provided is very accurate. They are very light weight pants but still have some insulation. I wouldn't want to wear them during the summer time though. I wore them in Georgia hiking and I was very impressed with them being waterproof considering it rained on us. Awesome pants!

These are a little shorter than expected, but I am a little short too so they worked great for me. I usually wear a 31" inseam and these fell just about perfect for me. They are a little noisy to walk in (not as loud as nylon pants but not as quiet as cotton pants) and really help keep the air from cooling your legs but at the same time letting some heat escape from your legs.

These were stated as being 32" inseam, which is what I look for. They were 29" inseam out of the package, so I didn't even look at the fit or style.
