WAS TO BE USED AS A TOP LAYER ON CHILLY MORNINGS BUT AS IT IS NOT VERY THICK IT NOW WARN WITH A THERMAL AND SHIRT UNDER IT DEPENDING ON HOW COLD IT IS.

nice mid layer. I actually sorta hate the wear this thing fits, but love the fabric. I find myself wearing it a lot. I thought it was going to be more of a light jacket, I wear it more like I would wear a hooded sweatshirt though. I might wear it as a jacket on a trip to the post office, but usually I just wear it over a shirt at work or school. Very odd, I'm sorta ambivalent to this jacket. If I had shorter arms and more weight, I'd love it though.

This item was listed under Ski Gear on the site and called Wooly Mammoth, indicating it was warm. It's really just a light shell. Not truly ski gear at all. It is nice, regardless, but I am unimpressed.

Good looking jacket; material is soft and the fit is very good. Very versatile for layering, aerobic sports, or as an outer layer if the temp is above 32F and not too windy. It does resist wind and light rain. Good choice for people who "run hot" when active. Breathes very well.

Lightweight. I like the full zipper - easy to ventilate as needed. Sleeves are a bit long but great for biking. MP3 vest pocket works well.

It was a well built and a nice looking jacket, and would be great for cooler days, above 50F, or as a liner on a colder days, I really like Columbia gear. It had a great feel to it and fit nicely under a jacket as a cold weather liner Just was not as heavy as I wanted, I was looking more for a colder weather jacket
