Columbia Sportswear Youngs River Falls Shorts (For Men)

Bought these for my son the boy scout. He loves them and wears them all the time, not just for scout trips. They are lightweight, comfortable, and can be crammed into a backpack and still look good a couple of days later. They can do double duty for swimming, and can keep you cool on a hot summer hike. They are made from sturdy fabric, and hold up well to repeat washings. I guess they are somewhat stain resistant too, because they still look great despite getting muddy on more than one occasion.

When combined with quick dry t-shirts, socks, and underwear, he has been the only scout not drenched in sweat on a summer hike. Of course the rest of the troop has similar products now. He stays comfortable with no chafing. The type of fabric they are made from doesn't wrinkle much, so being a typical boy, he just stuffs them in his pack and they still look good a couple of days later.
