    I use these shorts for warm weather backpacking trips that sometimes go up to 2 weeks long. The mesh liner lets me go without underwear and so I get to save on some trip weight. The pockets are a very handy feature that lets me keep some items out of my pack and easily accessible. They've lasted a couple of years so far and I expect them to last years longer as long as I reserve them for backpacking.
