    I bought a few 100% cotton turtlenecks a few years ago from STP for about the same price. They were great! I don't mind wearing those on the outside. The ones that I am reviewing now seem much thinner. They are fine to wear under a sweater or other shirt to layer, but not on their own. They also seem a bit small for the size. Oddly enough, I ordered my son a youth version of the same brand and they are very nice. They seem more substantial!

    Color was off. It's just a plain cornflower blue not purple blue as described. Feels a bit thin and has more elastic in the neck than I'd like. Now I know. It won't be the first (or second) I reach for in my closet.
