No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“I purchased 2 of the 8 x 11 rugs. While they were pretty to begin with (a couple of months ago), staining is a problem & the colors can bleed into each other if a spill isn't wiped up immediately. My dog knocked a glass of water onto the carpet & it ruined the rug--all the "stripes" bled into each other. It's very thin & also not easy to vacuum--especially if you have dogs that shed (and who doesn't?). A rug pad is also necessary. I would not purchase again--don't think it will last in decent condition very long. Also the ends curl up. Basically I have to babysit these rugs & vacuum them twice as much as I do every other rug in the house. [...]”
