    This is a well-made duvet cover. It washed and dried easily and looks fine without ironing. Our family uses duvet covers on all of our beds and I am always on the lookout for good prices. My daughter likes the subtle paisley pattern.

    These duvet covers are beautifully made -- wonderful detailing, very well constructed. They are, however, pretty scratchy at first. It takes about three washings to make them reasonably soft, and I think they will continue to get softer over time. Since the roughness is not a permanent problem, and since they are so nicely made, I did not take off any points.

    If this were made from organic cotton, which I was hoping since they were made in India, they would likely have a softer hand. They will take a few washings to soften up.
