About Cookware

Equipping your kitchen with high-quality cookware, including pots, pans, frying pans and sauce pans, will make preparing meals easier and more enjoyable. The most common choices of cookware include stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron and copper. Stainless steel pots and pans are very scratch and rust resistant, although typically don’t include a non-stick coating. Aluminum cookware almost always includes a non-stick coating to prevent certain foods from reacting with the metal, but isn’t as durable as stainless steel. Traditional cast iron fry pans, pots and dutch ovens are extremely durable, but may require seasoning and additional care to maintain. Finally, copper cookware sets offer superior heat conductivity, but are generally much more expensive.
