    This blanket is soft, warm enough under a quilt, cozy and so far, perfect! We have not washed it yet so cannot comment on this. So far, absolutely no problems with shedding or leaving fibers anywhere. Super happy with this blanket!

    The blanket is ideal as an extra layer between a sheet and a lightweight comforter. It can double as a spring-weight blanket. It began to pill and shed onto the sheets immediately. In hindsight, I should have washed it first. But even after five wash-and-dry cycles, it still left a handful of little pills in the dryer lint trap. My recommendation to a friend would be with advice to wash it first. Of course, that won't matter until Sierra gets more of these blankets.
