“I haven't actually tried this out yet. It seems o be a full flex rod. The ferrules fit together quite well, but it has an inexpensive build as does the lightweight, rather basic reel. I bought it as a spare for my kids or friends who want to try fly fishing and for the price I paid of well under $100 it seems worth it. It comes with backing and flyline separate from the reel and leader, but no extra tippit material.”
