    This rod is well designed. Use 6wt line for new casters. Be sure all sections are well seated and check every hour or so to prevent rod from coming apart.

    Certainly not the fit and finish of a high end graphite rod, but it makes a great backup/loaner/backpacking option. I like it best with a 6WF or a heavier 5WT such as a Rio Grande.
