“A sweet little rod for the money. It is fast and strong enough to cast with authority despite it's light weight. I'm highly impressed with it so far. The quality and construction of the guides, cork, wraps and reel seat are good, although I'm still having issues with that "swirled translucent finish". It will be ideal for small creeks and mountain lakes that I hike into, however, I won't be using it for larger fish. I highly recommend!”
