“I own four Cortland Endurance rods of various lengths and weights. IMO, this is the only one that is a true fast action. The others seem like medium action rods. To put it bluntly, this 8.5 5-weight is a stick. It casts incredibly well and is great for distance casting. In fact, I can cast further with it than I can with my Endurance 9' and 9.5 rods. I will definitely be getting another. Highly recommend!”
