“Bought rod for wife who hasn't fished for 12 years. Her first float trip and hooked and landed 6 trout on Bow River in difficult fishing conditions tossing #8 wooly buggers on DT-5 dry fly line. Rod is built well for price point, medium to medium fast action gives good casting feedback and control. 12 year old son has 6wt model which also has good performance for trout to panfish and light bass flies using DT-6 fly line.”
