    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I didn't care for the bright gold frame and they were too large for my small face (I'm 5'1"; 105 lbs). I think they would look nice on someone witha more average to large face. For those with smaller faces, look at item #97831. I loved these and will order another pair in exchange.

    I use these for driving and casual outdoor wear. They fit great and the polarization really reduces the glare. My eyes are light sensitive and all the Costa Del Mar products I have purchased work well protecting my eyes. I fish a great deal in the summer and expect these will work just as well as the other Costas I have bought.

    Good brown tinted polarized lenses -- aviator-derived design, and a good deal on STP. One annoyance is the small and not-so-soft silicone nose pads which aren't very cushioned on my nose bridge. I'm looking for some soft replacement pads, probably at an optometrist's, maybe a drugstore. Otherwise, I'm happy with the glasses.
