Cotton Blend Striped Bermuda Shorts (For Women)

I normally wear a 9 in junior's; I ordered up a size according to the other reviews. These shorts are cut slim in the thigh and rear, but baggy in the waist. The rear pockets are merely decorative, but on the size 11, at least, they're set too wide and make your rear look even wider. There are horizontal straps on either side of the waist. It'd be great if you could use these straps to adjust the waist, but you can't; they are totally non-functional, with the buttons sewn on.

These are great, stylish shorts. However, they are a bit tight through the hips and butt.

These look great but run small. I wear a 5/6 and ordered the 9 and it was too small. Will exchange for same but bigger if I can

I typically wear a 10-12 in most sizes. I ordered a 13 in these shorts and they were still a little tight. I have an atheletic build with a straight waist. The shorts were low-mid rise and didn't come in too tight at the waist which was good for me. They did feel tighter than normal in thighs. Overall, they fit me well enough, but it's definately NOT a standard fit for most women.

bought these for work. they fit well and are dressy enough to wear in an office setting.

Heeding comments, bought one size up for my young teen daughter and they fit her like a well-sized glove. Wash well. She says they are very comfortable. Do hit "low" on the waist to me, "regular" fit to her. Best for young or athletic shapes, I feel.

I wore these shorts recently on a very hot day and they were very comfortable and lightweight. They fit great and look just as good.

Size 9 was too tight in the hips and size 11 was too loose in the waist. If it fit my hips, the waist (which sits below natural waistline) was too big. These shorts might work for someone with just the right figure, but not for me. Also, description says there are back pockets however they are "faux" pockets.

the shorts do fit a little smaller than the size indicates - but they are great shorts
