Closeouts. A bit more decked out than your average boiled wool, this Euro-styled jacket from Country Fashion by Venario is a short crop style with glittering grosgrain accentuating the cutaway hem and rimmed, fabric-covered buttons

Warm and yet light so should pack well. I think it's classier looking than a sweater and should be great for cool evenings - or days. I got it in red and love the color. I have long arms and get so tired of my coats, jackets, etc showing so much wrist but this is long enough. Love it.

Needed a new warm sweater to keep at work that would go with everything. I love boiled wool and I love Mandarin collars, so this looked perfect.
the boiled wool is much thinner than I expected, but it makes sense with the price. This isn't a jacket that will keep you warm outside at 40F or below. This is a sweater/jacket to use in place of a cardigan at 50/60F, which will work perfectly in the office.
I am 5'6", the cut is mid-hip on me. The sleeves are about three inches too long, but the rough finish edge allows the sleeves to be turned up without looking silly.
The main complaint is the grosgrain ribbon details. It sparkles. A lot. I detest sparkly things on my clothin (which means my "a lot" could be extremely biaed). Perhaps I missed that fact when I read the description, but typically I pick on those things because, as mentioned previously, I detest sparkle on my clothing.
Still, the sweater/jacket works perfectly for what I needed it for. I have thrown it over a cocktail dress and worn out to an event, and it worked very well (b/c of the sparkles, dangit).
Do not order if thinking you are getting a heavy boiled wool sweater/jacket, or you don't like thins that sparkle.
