CoVelo Silk Charmeuse Blouse - Long Sleeve (For Women)

The blouse itself is lovely, but the champagne colour is not what it seems in the picture (off-white)and is much darker brownish. So I will not be able to use it for what I planned to use it for (performing with my choir) and will have to think of some other use for it.

This shirt looked good in the pics but was way too loose and ill fitting.

Based on others' reviews regarding colors, I bought this in black. It is beautiful. The heavier weight and fine quality of the silk is wonderful. It drapes, but it is true to size. I absolutely love the cut, collar and buttons. There is one reason why I would not wear this to work. The buttons and loops on the front and sleeves are all functional. I mean, not just decorative. There is fabric behind the buttons down the front, it is an extra piece of material sewn along the placket, so no skin shows through down the front. But there is no fabric behind the buttons down the sleeves, you can see some skin when you move your arms. Its actually nice for going out, but not appropriate for work.

A little unsure of the very large collar. As ususal with Covelo, there is a lot of detail that makes it a fun piece. The olive is a very deep shade, quite lovely. This was an iffy purchase for me. I've looked at this often and debated. I think I like it but don't love it though it is one of those items that might grow on me as I wear it. As always, I order a size up.
