I needed sunglasses with the reader function and these are perfect. No more switching back and forth between my readers and sunglasses when trying to read my gps on the trail. The tinting is not so dark that you cannot see in low light conditions.

When working or recreating in the bright sun, which is often, these let me read something like my tape measure without switching to some readers.
Stylish and durable with a good fit. I always have several around. Great price for the quality - keep them in stock!

With failing close-up eyesight, I'd been struggling to tie knots, tie on flies etc when out fishing. These glasses solved the problem. I was concerned about the bi-focals interfering with normal line-of-sight vision but that isn't an issue. Comfortable, sturdy.
That is the reading glass insert magnification.
These have a small reading glass insert at the bottom. It is very difficult to see but is very functional.

Mine is 2.0. And they are fantastic! Look and feel great, and the lenses work very well.

It means the strength of magnification. The higher the number, the stronger and larger the print on a page or the fishing fly you're tying to leader line appears. These glasses are commonly called "cheaters" and for far sighted people.

The numbers, 1.5, 2.0, etc is the strength of the bi-focal portion of the lenz. You have to pick the strength of your bi-focal.

These numbers refer to the bi-focal magnification you can choose. Not model numbers. Hope that helps :)
