Crabtree & Evelyn Cotton-Bamboo Robe - Shawl Collar (For Women)

I wanted a cotton robe that was heavy enough for cold winter mornings after my shower. This robe really fits the bill. It is thick without being bulky. I can dry my hair while wearing it and not have to take it off because I am too hot. The bamboo adds a softness to the cotton. I would highly recommend it!

Not too thick, not too light. Exactly what I was looking for.

Love this robe, just not the color (pink). Would prefer a dark color. But since I can't take it off, I am keeping it.

I was looking for a very lightweight, warm-weather robe, and thought this was, from the description. When it arrived and I found it was heavier and thicker than I anticipated, I almost sent it back, as I already had a warm robe. When I tried it on, it was so comfortable, looked good, and felt great, I loved it and kept it for general use when I don't need either a super-warm robe or a really lightweight wrap (my house is climate-challenged). The bamboo/cotton combination is not only ecologically a plus, but drapes comfortably heavily and feels rich.

This is the perfect robe! It is elegant, comfortable, beautiful, cozy, feminine and warm. I would highly, highly recommend this to anyone looking for a robe. The fact that it is made of bamboo and cotton gives it a special, unique, luxurious feel!

I would have liked this Crabtree and Evelyth robe to be more like my current one. This old favorite is made of soft, smooth cotton with an apple blossom pattern. The belt is attached at the sides and therefore always stays in place. It's sleeves are 3/4 length with stylish small slits. It is trimmed with satin and has worn beautifully for 10 or more years! However, it is finally wearing out. The new robe was terry-cloth with about 20 pulled threads, some a foot long! - with the usual belt that goes around, often out of place and with none of the style of the old, beloved robe. It is very hard to understand the online information for clothing.

This robe is made of a very soft fabric. I purchased both this robe and the Turkish terry robe. Although it is not as thick or warm as the terry robe it is much softer so I kept this one and returned the Turkish terry cloth.

I had a plush men's bathrobe that my husband appropriated. I bought this one to replace that one. It is not as plush but is soft, lighter and comfortable. The collar is much more flattering than the usual bathrobe.
