    It is a very beautiful nightgown but it is not made out of knit material. It is made out of cotton and the material is like that of a man's quality dress shirt.

    Bought this for my mother and she loved it. It is beautiful and fit her nicely. Mother is short & it went to the ground. Sleeve length great. She thought it was so lovely she wouldn't wear it to bed but would wear it in the morning when she had company. This is a great price for such a nice nightshirt.

    This beautiful toile nightshirt actually isn't very comfortable to sleep in. Generally, nightshirts/nightgowns made of woven cotton are more voluminous. This one is not at all voluminous. As is typical with Crabtree and Evelyn, the sleeves are longer than stated. On the other hand, it is pretty and well made. I think it would be far better for lounging around than for wearing to bed.
