I have not wore the jacket alot but so far it is great. It is very soft and the zip off sleeves are cool. It would probably fit a larger person a little snug so you may want to oder a size up if this is the case.

45" chest 34 waist. xxl is okay fit, snug on shoulders. very good quality, good deal for price. wish the fabric had some stretch tho

Hugely flawed design - armholes are way too tight - you'd have to be an Auschwitz victim for the fit to be correct. Other than that huge flaw, the design, fabric and workmanship is terrific. I don't know if what Sierra is selling is seconds or something, but there is something drastically wrong with the fit - the arm holes are so tight you can feel blood being restricted like a tourniquet - it is doubly surprising as I ordered XXL even though I typically wear XL size (Craft often runs small due to Euro styling) - instead it feels like a medium in the arms. If you are built like a stick figure, perhaps this would work for you. Otherwise, it's a waste of time.

Like most Craft garments this jacket is very well made and includes some nice extras like inside cuffs to keep drafts out of the sleeves. The material is synthetic but feels like cotton, the inside liner is fairly warm, but it breathes well (grid fleece,not as warm as Patagonia grid fleece, but more breathable). I use this jacket for ski touring-- it excells in windy weather. As other reviewers have mentioned, the arm holes are a bit tight, and you can feel them a bit. I have a skinny upper body so this is not a problem, but if you have big shoulders this jacket will not suit. The tight shoulders, however, do mean that when using this jacket as a vest, you don't get drafts through the arm holes. All in all, I'm happy with this jacket.

I bought this jacket for my son to snowboard with for the first time. At first I thought it would not be warm enough, but he never complained and stayed warm the entire day. He liked the design and fit too.

The upper sleeves are so narrow that I had difficulty putting it on. I tried zipping off the sleeves, and the arm holes were cut much too tight. So tight that I couldn't wear it with any kind of comfort at all. My upper body is not exceptionally big, and my arms are not not either. This will be returned.

This is a well made garment. But it is designed for winter activites. It is not for daily wear. The sleeves zip off to make a vest. This causes the shoulders to feel tight. The jacket is perfect as a mid layer ski jacket. The fabric and over all design are high quality. The fabric is wind and water resistant.
