    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I live in Montana and run/ski outdoors all winter. I wear a size 5 and ordered a small. The material is great! However, the design stinks. There's so much material gathered into the back waistband that the rear end is ginormously puffy - like I there's a balloon under the back side of my pants....way too much room, even for my bubble butt. Looks ridiculous. Other than the rear end, the pants fit ok.

    Ran with these pants in 25 degree weather. It was slightly windy, but not sure of the windchill. Definitely could have been colder and the pants would have been good with no extra layer.

    I purchased these pants as an outer layer for running in the winter. Like previous reviewers said, the pants run a little large, but that allows me to have additional layers underneath. The pants were too long (I'm 5'2"), so I had to have them hemmed. I like the white color, for running in the dark.

    The pants look well made and functional. I haven't tried them yet because I bought them in May and I want them for winter activities. However, the cut is very strange. I'm a size 0 / XS and these fit my waist well but are enormous in the seat and hips. Not only do they look ridiculous, but they won't fit with a slim cut jacket.
