    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought this jacket for my husband for spring cross-country skiing. Unfortunately, we had to return. He is not a big guy, but the fit on this jacket is for someone who is VERY slim. While he did not wear it, it also did not look like it would breathe well. It is totally lined, no mesh. On the plus side, the fabric was nice and appeared well constructed.
