Reviewed by Ted from California on Sunday, April 14, 2013These tights are surprisingly warm. In sunny California I may only end up wearing them in winter. The technical fabric breaths well and the articulated legs work nicely for cycling, my main use. My only complaint is that the ankles seem a bit large. My legs are pretty normal and the ankles seemed slightly loose, but not so funky that I was willing to send them back....especially at the great price.

Reviewed by Capt. KJ from HB, NC on Monday, March 04, 2013I am 5'7" at 174lbs with a waist of 34, i ordered a size medium, though the chart indicated more along the lines of a Large. It is a good thing i got the medium because it is not tight at all. Waist is ok but from there down gets looser and from the knee down is like wearing a pair of tapered leg jeans. Considering returning them for a small. As far as thermal quality, I don't find them to be overly warm, actually wearing them around the house was ok, but then I live in NC and we like it warm anyway. they definately are not overly warm.

Reviewed by Bob the Cow Run from Maine on Wednesday, February 27, 2013I run at temps as low as -20* C outside. I put woolen lower leg warmers over these tights and stay warm. Never had problems with muscle tightness or injury due to cold temps. I wished the pants come up higher in the waist. A bit too much "low rider" for trying to keep back and belly warm because shirt tries to wriggle out of pants while running.

Reviewed by skibum from Bozeman, MT on Wednesday, February 20, 2013They fit good, are comfortable and work well. The material looks like it could start to pile quickly and they are a warm tight, good for under 30 degrees along with a pair of wind briefs since these are not wind proof.
