Verified Buyer Reviewed by LJB from Rochester, NY on Friday, December 28, 2012I bought these for my mother - a winter runner and XC skier - and she LOVES them/ Craft has really perfected everything about their products. Some if the highlights were the back pocket for keys/cash was perfectly placed, and that the fabric in the knees was less restrictive for movement. The pants were slightly short (she's 5'5 size M) but otherwise the fit was perfect.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Staccor from Texas on Friday, December 7, 2012The pants look and fit amazing. They are very light weight and thin. You will have to wear layers with these pants. The fabric looks not to be waterproof either so may not work on wet days. Over all we can make them work for the slope.

Reviewed by Mousercat from Albany, NY on Sunday, October 21, 2012I ordered a M but may re-order in a L then keep the best fit of the two. I normally wear a 6-8 size pants, 136 pounds and 5'5" with most of my height in my legs. Would have liked these a bit longer, they just cover my ankles. The waistband is a bit snug but wearable. These pants are form-fitting in the seat and hips, a bit looser from the thighs down but stretchy and comfortable. Would need a base layer for extremely cold or windy XC conditions. Overall, a decent buy but not really worth more than the deal on this site.
- Best Uses: Cold weather walking, XC skiing
- Cons: A bit short, tight waistband
- Pros: Good stretch, nice cut
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Xc ski mad from Australia on Thursday, August 30, 2012These are great pants for x country skiing, exactly what I was after. Perfect for days where waterproof gear is not required. Very comfortable and look good too. I am usually a size 8-10 and the medium is a good fit for me, glad i didn't go for small. Only concern is how long they will last, not sure the fabric will take much of a beating.
- Best Uses: Mild Ski Days, Vigorous Workout On Skis
- Cons: durability of fabric
- Pros: Cost, Lightweight, Neat fit
Verified Buyer Reviewed by PCK from Snow Country on Friday, April 27, 2012Since it's almost May - this review isn't about functionality - haven't been able to use them yet. That said - I really like these pants. They have a wind resistant fabric on the front of the leg and the back is a stretch fabric. They are lightweight and IMO, very versatile - I'll probably run with them over tights on single digit/below zero days too. The pants themselves are not super warm - nor are they intended to be - just vary your undergarments based on weather as you normally would. It is important to note that these are meant for exercise and if you are a relaxed skier you may not find them warm enough. They are a tad shorter than I'd like (I have 32" inseam), but they fit over my boots nicely and in deep snow I wear gators anyway. I got a small (5'8 130lbs) and it fits well -elastic waist with cinch cords, half zip leg and small back pocket. I always go to the CraftSports US page to verify my correct size prior to purchasing. If you prefer full zip legs and suspenders - go with the men's. My husband got those and they're nice.
