Craft Pro Cool Biking Tights Liner - Lightweight (For Women)

I bike for exercise & training & these shorts have absolutely no padding. I don't even know what you call what little something they put into these shorts, but it's not padding. So not worth the purchase.

I'm looking to extend my season here in MI. I commute to work and usually ride longer distances on Sunday w/friends & family. I think the pad for these liner shorts will be to thin but havn't worn them yet. I'm sure they'll be fine for my 6 mile commute to work, but I'm worried about the longer stuff.

I have had lots of problems with shorts in the past. I ride 50+ miles at a time and race in 24-72 hour adventure races. Most shorts begin to gather and fold in the padded area causing hot spots. These shorts have a more solid molded padding, but not too thick. It held its shape in my past 24 hour race during the biking section and I wore them the entire race, even running and paddling with no problems. I wore these as my only shorts, not as liners. But they are a little short in the length to wear alone if you are modest.

What a great liner!! The fabric is lighweight and the padding is just enough to add that extra protection. We (my sister and I) have started to wear these even on shorter rides and during our week long ride this summer in Iowa they will save us from having to wash so many pairs of shorts. YEA!!

Great idea - nice, short, and lightweight to wear under other clothing but no real padding. would be better served wearing tri-shorts under your other clothing.

I have lots of work out wear, but I've been having trouble finding cycling shorts that look nice. I thought these would be good to wear under my work out shorts, but you can still see the line where the liner ends on the legs. The padding is next to nothing, so given that is still shows through, I'd rather just wear a pair of true cycling shorts under my existing work out shorts, instead of a liner. I bought these and the Shebeest CC Cycling shorts,sold on the STP website, knowing that I'd be returning one. I'll be returning these. I was very happy with the others, though, and posted a positive review for that product.

I normally wear an 8 so ordered a medium, but it seems a tad large. Legs crept up a bit

Even though I am only a weekend warrior - I take long rides on my hybrid bike. I live in hot desert and thought these liners might work under a pair of my own shorts. Alas - I need more padding.

These shorts are a great way to convert running tights into cycling tights. I haven't had a chance to test them out since we are still in the midst of winter here, but am looking forward to trying them out this spring. Chamois is stitched down and low-profile--comfort without the bulk. Would have liked to see the chamois wider through the crotch, though, so it extends to the inner thigh.

I recently started riding my mountain bike again after many years and bought this liner to wear under shorts for a little padding. So far this winter I've only used them on my bike trainer indoors and they work great. I don't feel too hot in them and they were a good bargain. For longer rides I will invest in a more padded pair of shorts, but people who are in better 'bike shape' might not need any thicker padding than these provide.
