A heartfelt thank-you to the buyers who came before me and wrote such detailed comments about fit. I'm 5'8" and 135 with long arms and after reading those comments I dared to hope that this jacket would fit me... it did. This is my new cross-country shell but it's so stylish and attractive that it would work as an everyday jacket. The cut is outrageously sharp for athletic wear. This is my second Craft purchase from STP -- I also have a light jacket for running -- and I'm impressed with the brand and will seek it out from now on. Thanks again, tall friends! Only possible drawback is that since it's black with no reflective detailing, the wearer will not be as visible as in the brighter colors this type of gear typically comes in. Since I intend to use it for skiing only, this is not an issue for me.

This is by far the best xc jacket I've found. The construction is excellent, the fabric is stretchy and lightweight, but still warm and wind resistant. The handwarmer pockets are lined with the most delicious fleece on earth (as is the neck). There's a soft inner wind cuff on the sleeves, and a stylish black-on-black printed fabric on the shoulder. Overall it feels great on an looks sharp! Other commenters have complained that the jacket runs very small and will only fit a model. Well, I fit into a size M in just about every line of clothing out there (Arcteryx, REI, JCrew, most designer clothing, although some I need to move up to a L), was slim until I recently gained 10 pounds and would never be mistaken for a model, and I bought a M in this jacket. I would consider it a roomy medium, with plenty of allowance for layering with up-to-midweight base layers or a light sweater -- perfect for nordic skiing. I'm also quite tall (5'11") and this jacket fits me beautifully -- the waist is at the right spot, the sleeves are nice and long, the jacket tail covers my tail! So, you tall babes out there who are sick of freezer burn on your tummy and wrists, this is your jacket. I only wish it came in colors! This jacket helped convinced me that I need to be looking to Europe for my clothes. The US now caters only to women 5'6" and under. You're out of luck if you don't fit that profile. I'm just soooooo glad I found Craft here on Sierra Trading.

Tall girls: Never drive with cold wrists again!! I'm so happy to have found a hooded, waterproof, longer-body, stretchable black jacket for both active and casual wear that actually has dimensions appropriate for my height. The sleeves are gloriously long, maybe a little on the long side even for me, but I love it! I'm 5'9" and wear a size 6 or 8 in pants and M in tops, and size M fit me perfectly with only a t-shirt, but I chose size L to allow for shrinkage and larger garments underneath. Still looks great! The pockets are well placed for warming hands. (However, no interior pockets that I could find, which would have been nice.) There is a small, third pocket at the right seam (hip height). The jacket looks sharp with the hood off, but it looks best with the hood on because of all the snaps, giving it a almost a tough biker look. The shaping is sufficient to add feminity in my opinion -- I wouldn't want any more or the jacket might start to feel restrictive. The fabric must be breathable, because I've warn it in the sun in the high 60s to low 70s and was comfortable. The wrists have a comfortable stretchy layer added underneath that's really effective at keeping out the unwelcome cold. Hidden adjustable cinch at bottom. The hood is not lined with fleece--another happy feature because it doesn't mess with your hair so badly! The only thing I don't like is that the hood starts to zip off with regular wear. I'm going to sew a button underneath the flap on the jacket that hides the zipper, and then tie on a stretchy loop to the zipper so I can hook it to the button when the hood is zipped on. Overall an awesome jacket, but could've been perfect with a bit more attention to design. But no complaints here! More than meets my expectations as an multi-weather, multi-purpose, comfortable, cool-looking cover.

I love this jacket. It is comfortable and looks great and I can wear it both hiking and around town. It's a fairly lightweight softshell, with more lining in front and more breathable back. Does well in light rain. Only negative is that the zipper sticks a little at the bottom. The fit is great for me -- I'm 5'11'' and it is a perfect length. It's definitely cut for taller/thinner women, which is a plus for me but obviously not for everyone.

I'm currently pregnant and wanted a jacket that I could use once I start running again in January. I bought a medium, thinking that I may not be a small anymore. The medium zips up comfortably even with my 32 week belly. It's too big on my shoulders and arms. I'm going to exchange it for a small and that should be good post-pregnancy. I like that it has an urban look, which makes it pretty versatile. It will easily go from morning runs to casual street wear. The fit doesn't appear to be super tailored, but more like a straight cut from arm pits to hips with a slight acknowledgment of a woman's waist. I love that the hood zips off.

If you are sized like a fashion model, this might fit. The sleeves are about six inches too long and, although I bought a size larger for layering, it is tight around the hips. I think this is called the "shrink it and pink it" fit - where the manufacturer takes a mens jacket, makes it smaller, adds frou-frou styling and calls it a womens jacket. It won't fit real women. If you are a fashion model or otherwise shaped like a man, you will probably like it. Its a nice looking jacket and the pockets are warmly lined with soft fleece. Since I am shaped like a woman, I returned it.

This is a great looking jacket that can be worn casually with jeans or for running, biking and working out. It is very lightweight but warm at the same time and the microfleece makes it oh so cozy. Excellent quality, I would definitely recommend it.
