    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I needed a shell for that transition time during fall to winter and this fit the bill. It's decently windproof and water resistant for those wet fall days and very lightweight. It's versatile enough for everyday wear and for running during the colder days. I don't think it will be as warm as a winter fleece but yet to be tested.

    I wanted a form fitting everyday casual jacket.I thought this jacket would have more insulation and be warmer. Its best suited for being active in 40deg.+ weather or a casual jacket in 50deg.+ weather. Best with warm base layer and intermediate layers underneath.

    pockets are to low and not waterproof. The pocket opening is on a bad angle and doesn't work well in wet weather.

    This is George NY, I reviewed this before and really like the jacket but my zipper broke. be careful not to snag it on anything. my pocket was unzipped and caught a hand rail. the bottom of the zipper broke off so now it does not stay zippered.
