Throw in a micro-porous inner coating and a moisture-wicking nylon mesh lining for extremely comfortable, breathable rain protection. Zip armpit openings and back vent allow excess heat and perspiration to escape.

    Just got this jacket and use it to commute on my bike during the midwest winter with layers under. Works out really well. The pit zips allow you to control your temperature very well and the long tail really covers your rear effectively, no cold drafts up your back. I'm glad I bought a size larger, if I bought my true size, would be too tight.

    I use the jacket as the final layer on snow shoe hiking. It can be taken off and easily stuffed into a day pack. The underarms have vents for additional heat control. It is more convenient than my other rain gear because it is so light. It also has a hidden hood that I found quite adequate when a recent cold wind kicked up.
