3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice, but not thermalReviewed by Will from Iowa on Monday, March 9, 2015I had a great pair of Craft Winter tights from over a decade ago that finally started falling apart. They were super light but warmer than anything I've ever had and I could run in sub zero temps no problem. I bought these from STP earlier this winter thinking they would be a replacement. They fit great and are comfy but they are not thermal. I can only wear these down to about 20 degrees as there's no fleecy interior to keep you warm. I probably should have returned them but I kept them since I needed a lighter weight pair of tights anyway. Since it seems like others have had the same issue I wonder if STP or Craft mis-labeled these. The tag even said "thermal" on it. I double checked multiple times. So, be wary if you're looking for warm tights.

4.0 out of 5 stars. A bit on the lighter sideVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Connecticut on Thursday, January 22, 2015Based on the size chart, a medium was actually the most suitable for me (I am 6'4" and 210 lbs.) mostly because the inseam length doesn't really change that much and I have a smaller waist (33-34). Unfortunately, though, the medium was just too small. They are very stretchy, so I could have made it work, but I knew a large was just going to be a better fit, so I exchanged them. They are definitely a bit on the lighter side, though. I have a pair of Nike element thermal tights. Compared to them, the Craft tights are probably suited for 10 degrees or so warmer, which isn't a bad thing if you are looking for tights for those 35 degree days with a light wind, when you would prefer to not have too much exposed skin. They are going to be a great early spring/late fall tight. They are a little short on me (an inch or two about my ankle) but like I said, if you are wearing them in warmer temps, a little exposed ankle shouldn't be an issue.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great running leggings!Reviewed by Ellie from Athens, Georgia on Tuesday, January 20, 2015Just got these last week and am really happy with them! I have only one similar Nike brand leggings with the "fleece like" lining on the inside that keeps my legs really warm, without being bulky at all! They are figure flattering as well! I read previous reviews and went up a size from what I usually wear. I'm 5'9 140 lbs 38 hips 29 waist and usually wear small in most Nike leggings but went up a size as the reviewers recommended and they are a perfect fit!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not thermal, strange leg openingsReviewed by Bob in VA from Virginia on Friday, January 16, 2015As the other reviewer said, this is not really thermal material. IMO, this is just a normal weight tight you'd wear for 30deg F+ runs. Leg openings are strange in that the zippers and reflective piping are on the _inside_ of the leg. Generally speaking, I feel these are a little on the pricey side for what they are. 3 stars for a decent if not exciting pricey set of tights.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Thin and has mesh.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Vie from Colorado on Tuesday, November 25, 2014These tights seems are NOT thermal. They are thin and has mess openings just between the waist and buttock. They seem like they would be good for cool weather running, but not cold or winter running. I had to return them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. LoveReviewed by DizzyHiker from Colorado on Friday, November 14, 2014Just got these and did a 10 mile run in 10 degree temps and felt comfortable warm. Reminder I can also wear shorts down to 20 degrees if not windy though. So if you're a person that gets cold often you might want to go with thicker tights. Fits perfect on me. Ordered a medium. I'm 6'2" 170lb 32 to 33 waist 34 inseam.
