    I was really sad to have to send this back because it was really well made, but alas, a 38 seems to mean Womens Small, not medium. I am guessing a medium would be about a 42.

    I have no idea what the sizes (34, 36, 38) actually mean. [...] that it referred to bust size. I wear a 34 bra, I ordered this jacket in a size 36 and I couldn't even close it. I was disappointed because it's a beautiful, well-made cycling jacket but it is for tiny tiny people. I'm not even sure a 38 would fit me.
