I waited to review this until I purchased all I wanted. If your size is still there, buy multiples. Boating, hiking, jogging in my weight vest these pants are simply awesome!

It's always a gamble when buying clothes online, I always hope to hit the jackpot. In this case, I got the 30" short size in elephant (gray) for a 120lb, 5'6" man. The bad news is that these were pretty baggy, first with about an extra inch or so in the waist. The stranger part was the huge baggy crotch area...they hang really low. Third, was the huge leg puffiness. This was not designed for a slim, petite build in any way. Of course, it had some fantastic zippered pockets, cell phone pocket, etc that were really nice, so I gave it two stars. But the fitment wasn't even close, no winner this time.

If you like loose-fitting convertible hiking pants, these are for you. Lots of pockets, quality materials, but they're just big all over. I imagine if I zip off the legs, it will look like I'm wearing a kilt.

The good: fabric is nice, lots of pockets for security, thoughtful design
The bad: I am fairly average in size with somewhat short legs, 30" inseam 38" waist. It seems these pants were contoured for the morbidly obese. I could have stuffed a small watermelon down the front and had room to spare. I can't imagine how ridiculous these would look with the legs zipped off. Very disappointed as I really liked the features.
