5.0 out of 5 stars. Great sunscreen shirt
Reviewed by AnnaLaurie from AZ on Friday, February 28, 2014
This is a wonderful casual shirt for being out in the sun. It's lightweight, has a turn up collar, and the sleeves are long enough for my tall frame. I got size 16 (US 12), and it works perfectly for me (normal to slender, 5'11"). I know we usually like more rather than fewer pockets when hiking, but I like that this shirt has less clutter on the front. It will be great for garden puttering or other times when sun protection is wanted but not all the extra fuss of hiking shirts.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. soft fabric and nice color, but...

I ordered the shirt in velvet plum, size 4. However, to my dismay, I noticed stains on the back and shoulder areas after wearing it on a sweaty day of walk. I thought the stains from sweat might come off after a few wash, but they are permanent.

I am 5'4", 135lb and this shirt fit perfectly and has a nice feminine shape. The fabric also has a lovely soft feel to it and I love the velvet plum colour. I am pleased to have a cool, lightweight shirt to cover up my arms when I am in the sun for extended periods.

Shows attention to detail in construction. Well made, comfortable product. It is slightly fitted. I take a size 12-14. Purchased a large and the body of the shirt fits well but the arms are long. I don't believe a size change would be for the better. Will just roll up the cuff. All in all a really nice shirt.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice

I ordered up a size and that worked out just fine. The color was attractive and the fit was stylish. However, it is not the typical UPF quality that I am used to (I love Columbia brand). I initially kept it and put it in the wash. I did not like the result. I felt it needed touch-up ironing. I had to return it.

Love this shirt. Wore it frequently on safari and found it to be great for the cold mornings, and light enough for the warmer afternoons. The buttons add a nice touch, if a little confusing to jet-lagged minds. Stretches beautifully making it ridiculously comfortable. Highly recommended.

About Craghoppers

The story behind Craghoppers jackets and apparel began in 1965 when a group of friends from Yorkshire, England started planning a trip to climb Mt. Everest. At the time, options for dependable, high-performance outerwear were pretty scant. Rather than settling for less than adequate gear, the friends decided to create their own, and the Craghoppers clothing company was born. Half a century later, Craghoppers jackets, pants, shorts and shirts are still helping people bag summits and stay comfortable on their adventures all across the globe. With features that range from lightweight, UV-resistant fabrics to Insect Shield® bug repellency, Craghoppers clothing is designed to get outdoors and go places.
