5.0 out of 5 stars. exactly what I was looking for

I wanted a fleece that I could wear skiing and tuck into my ski pants without a lot of extra fabric to stuff. This fleece is perfect. I have a long torso, and this fleece is long enough to tuck in and stay tucked in. It is pretty thick and warm. I'm 5'4", 125 lbs with a curvy build. I purchased the size 4 and it is slim in the hips for me, which is what I wanted, yet a little loose everywhere else. It is big enough for a base layer underneath and still fits perfectly under a ski jacket. I got the arctic blue which is a beautiful teal blue.

If I'd known how much I was going to love this fleece, I'd have bought more than one!
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. lovely shirt--runs big

The shirt is very soft, light-weight, and warm. I have the mulberry, which is a lovely purple. A couple of the reviews here state that the sizes given are UK sizes and you should order larger. That's incorrect. The sizes on the STP website are American sizes. I wear an American large more often than not these days, so I first ordered the 14, based on those warnings. It was huge. I exchanged it for a 12, which still seems a bit large, but it's not worth the money I lose on shipping to do another exchange. I washed it in hot water and it seemed to tighten up enough in the hips to look decent. I'll get good use out of it this winter.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. great layering shirt

I ordered this in a size 4 for my daughter, but found that it actually fits me (5'4", 125 lbs) perfectly. It is slim fitting in the hips (unless you size up), which is what I was looking for because I want to be able to tuck it into ski pants. I got the arctic blue, which looks more teal than the picture on my computer. Very pretty. I find the arms slightly loose, just like the picture shows, which is comfortable and hopefully still fits well under a ski jacket. Nice layering shirt.

This fleece is wonderful, especially for the price. Make sure you notice that it's Euro sizing. That part's a bit tricky. I usually am a med to large and 14 was perfect.

About Craghoppers

The story behind Craghoppers jackets and apparel began in 1965 when a group of friends from Yorkshire, England started planning a trip to climb Mt. Everest. At the time, options for dependable, high-performance outerwear were pretty scant. Rather than settling for less than adequate gear, the friends decided to create their own, and the Craghoppers clothing company was born. Half a century later, Craghoppers jackets, pants, shorts and shirts are still helping people bag summits and stay comfortable on their adventures all across the globe. With features that range from lightweight, UV-resistant fabrics to Insect Shield® bug repellency, Craghoppers clothing is designed to get outdoors and go places.
