Crispi

Out side of coming with the older Tongue-Liner Thin Poor fir, that is why Crispt swiched over to the newer over lap liner. This is my second pair of this boot so I know how it skis. I added a Booster Strap & swapped out the old liners with my newer already :Cooked" liner and all I can say is Mucho Power and Oh so Comfy!

I had heard these earlier Crispi Evo's were too stiff. They are pretty stiff in the bellow and overall flex, but feel good and do turn the skis with ease. My upright style may make the stiffness less of an issue, since those who really like to get the knee low may be inhibited from doing so with these. Excellent overall quality and price.

Couldn't pass on such a great deal to get into the NTN system. However, when the boots arrived I was disappointed to find an old-school liner with a tongue, rather than the pictured yellow wrap style liner.

I tried these out for the first time yesterday. Not easy to find opportunities in June. Climbed a couple of miles on mostly snow with occasional rock. Flexible enough to walk in comfortably. A little stiff walking on rock. Locked them down and skied from the top. They felt great with good control. Sizing was a little confusing. I wear US 9.5, the 27's were listed as 9 and 27.5 as 10. I bought the 27.5, the tag on the boots says 9.5 and they are right. They were tight on the outside with footbeds in, but perfect without. I have not molded them yet, but they are comfortable. A hot spot while walking, but no blisters.

The price was unbeatable. Sizing was easy: I just measured by foot in centimeters to determine my Mondo size. Perfect fit.

Just starting out on tele this year and this boot has been very helpful in dialing in the turn. This seems like the appropriate amount of flex and responsiveness to drive modest sized skis (176 length / 90mm underfoot). Foot is too wide for most boots and these fit well without having been heat molded.
