CRKT Kommer’s Big Eddy Fillet Knife - 6.75”, Combo Edge, Fixed Blade

Closeouts. The premier filleting knife you want with you on your next big fishing trip, CRKT's Kommer's Big Eddy fillet knife features a partially serrated edge that's ideal for skinning heavy-scaled fish like salmon. Plus, the trailing-point 420J2 stainless steel blade is flat-ground on the left side and hollow-ground on the right side to eliminate guesswork when filleting.

Would have given it at least 4 stars but the single bevel edge on the smooth blade portion is a killer. Makes the knife pull to the side while filleting. I will have to regrind and that will take a lot of time.

this knife comes very sharp and has its own sheath the knife is kinda short for being the "big" eddy but it is still a great knife for panfish and trout the best part about the knife is its grip it is very "grippy" if thats a word and does not slip easily overall a grear knife

I wanted to be excited about this knife, but it's junk. I could literally press my thumb against the edge and run along it without even a nick - dull would be an understatement. I'm going try some extensive sharpening, but the stock edge on this knife will take a lot of work. The sheath is a cheaply made plastic jacket. I have no idea how this knife is meant for skinning Salmon - it literally could not sharpen a stick.
