Closeouts. A no-nonsense work knife with a lightweight, strong and comfortable design, CRKT's Onion Shenanigan PPS folding pocket knife features a combo-edge AUS 8 stainless steel blade with a modified drop-point blade shape.
The Shenanigan is light for it's size and has a nice blade shape, well-suited for most tasks. It is on the larger end of the spectrum for EDC. so be sure that you want a three-and-a-half inch blade before you buy it. While it is not an assisted opening model, this CRKT opens quickly with just a slight flick of the wrist. The scales, shape and jimping make it a very secure instrument to hold. It fits my hand very well (I wear large gloves and have longer than average fingers).

I love this knife. Lets start with the pocket clip for carrying it. It is strong and keeps the knife secured in place. I tend to wear Carhartts a lot and carry it in the left leg tool pocket and it fits so nice and has never fallen out. If I have on something else I carry it in the left hip pocket and again, the clip keeps it where I put it. The blade is easy to open one handed and can be done quite quickly with just a small flick of the wrist and finger. Once the blade is out you can get a true sense of the handle. It fits very comfortably into the hand and along with the checkering on the sides plus the thumb grooves on the top it is really stable. It feels as if nothing could remove it from your grip. That perfect hand shape of the handle is what I love about this knife. The blade itself is excellent. The blade continues the profile of the grip handle in a way that the blade is lined up naturally with your hand. After I got this knife I put a different grind on the blade so that I could get it razor sharp with my diamond sharpening stones. It can shave the hair on my arm and holds that edge quite well and is easy to get it back once it starts getting a bit dull. The only thing that keeps this knife from being five stars is the serrations. They are the most extreme serrations I have ever had on a knife and they look, to me, that they may be susceptible to excessive wear. If this was the non serrated version of the knife it would be five stars all the way. That being said, at the price that STP is offering this knife it is a sure winner.
