Verified Buyer Reviewed by emily blakey from delaware on Wednesday, March 18, 2015You sent me Boyfriend cut straight-leg. I like BOOTCUT. The jeans look nothing like the picture. I hate going to the postoffice standing in line for an hour to return items that were sent to me wrong and then have to pay for postage. NOT HAPPY.

I must give Sierra Trading Post a big A+. Their returns and instant credit if you want to exchange, the returns process it'self, the Customer Service, the very reasonable shipping and the speed in which everything is done is fantastic. I feel very confident about Sierra Trading Post for any future purchases.

Question & Answer
“How can these be size 19? You sure it's not the leg opening they are referring to? I've heard of 18, 20, even 9, but 19?”
These jeans are junior sizes, so size 19 would translate to 16-18 in women's size. Great fabric, if you like original jean fabric, not the lightweight fabric that most jeans are made of now.
I purchased these jeans when size 9 was available. The size 19 is probably a large size, equivalent to size 18-20. Hope this helps!

I've washed them several times and haven't noticed any shrinkage. If anything, they seem slightly longer than usual jeans to begin with. The main thing I've noticed is that they get softer with washing, like 100% cotton jeans used to, thus they feel a little looser because they Are not so stiff.
I have never had any trouble with these jeans shrinking, although I don't usually put jeans in the dryer.
No, not that I noticed.
They won't if you hang them to dry. If you do put them in the dryer,at most you'll lose maybe 1/2 inch. I hang mine up to dry.
“I am looking at the size chart for women's cruel girl jeans, the sizing is even numbers but the sizing to buy is odd (typically juniors) size. How do I know which size to order?”
If you normally wear even sizes which is Misses, then go by that size. If you would normally wear odd sizes, Junior size, then order that.
Actually that was a little strange . I tried both the 0 and the 1, and did not see any difference in the fit--misses vs. juniors. The size 1 was slightly larger than the size 0. maybe they have sold out of the even sizes now. Anyway since there isn't any of that pesky stretch that makes jeans droop by noon, the size 1 fts like a regular size 0 that hasn't stretched. They do loosen some with wear and washing, like all jeans used to do.
I typically wear a 12 in Women's jeans. Looking at the size chart I went with a 13 for the Cruel jeans --- It was TOO big. I returned them for a size 11 -- fits perfect! Hope this helps!!!
The sizing is crazy. It is basically hit or miss. The reviews should help guide you. These pants run large. My only suggestion is to find a pair you like and google them to see what other people say in their reviews. Because the prices are insanely affordable, I don't mind receiving a pair or jeans that don't turn out right. I'll find another purpose for them or give them to a friend or relative. Good luck.
I found that the sierra trading post general size chart did NOT correlate at all with cruel girl jeans sizes. My hips are 39-40" waist around 29 or 30 yet my cruel girl jeans size is 7. I think the STP chart said I should be a size 10 or 12! With sizes going crazily down all the time, I am usually a 6 and this year even a 4 in some pants. So it might be safer to go by your regular size, and add +1 for a junior version, that's what worked for me, anyway...
I would try the next size up. But, I think when I first started to order theses jeans, which I really love, I ordered 2 sizes and returned the one that did not fit.
