I work on a big ranch, and so I prefer higher-rise jeans so that my shirt stays tucked in and I don't have to worry about my pants falling down when I ride. I only gave them only four stars because I go through about four to five pairs a year at least--they don't last as long as I would like, but I use them pretty hard. Cruel Girl has a style called the Low-Rise (that actually aren't), and those are actually the jeans I prefer because they last forever, but the only place I've been able to find them is the outlet in Denver, and they won't ship them to me in Montana :( So, these are what I buy instead. I've tried them all--Wranglers, Rockies, Levis--and these last the longest, fit me the best, and are the most comfortable. Not drying them helps them last a little longer.

They fit well around the waist area (just below) with minimal gap which I tend to have a problem with in jeans. They fit true to size for Cruel standards.
