Reviewed by Cassidy from Montana on Saturday, March 23, 2013I really like these jeans. They are definitely NOT low-rise--I wear them to work only, haha. I work on a big ranch, and so I prefer higher-rise jeans so that my shirt stays tucked in and I don't have to worry about my pants falling down when I ride. I only gave them only four stars because I go through about four to five pairs a year at least--they don't last as long as I would like, but I use them pretty hard. Cruel Girl has a style called the Low-Rise (that actually aren't), and those are actually the jeans I prefer because they last forever, but the only place I've been able to find them is the outlet in Denver, and they won't ship them to me in Montana :( So, these are what I buy instead. I've tried them all--Wranglers, Rockies, Levis--and these last the longest, fit me the best, and are the most comfortable. Not drying them helps them last a little longer.

They fit well around the waist area (just below) with minimal gap which I tend to have a problem with in jeans. They fit true to size for Cruel standards.

But, by the end of the first day of wearing them, I was glad I kept them. They weren't sagging off me like other jeans do!

The fit is very flattering, and Cruel girl jean hold up better than any other jeans I've tried. The waist on this particular pair is a little higher than I normally wear, but that's not necessarily a bad thing; shirts stay tucked in a little better.
