Crumpler Breakfast Buffet Laptop Bag - Water-Resistant

Useful for the daily commute, though I initially purchased it for a travel bag to hold maps, guidebooks, journals, camera, etc. Like most Crumpler products (I also have a bigger laptop messenger bag) it "suffers" from too much weight. This is due to all the padding. I also would have liked a little more internal organization, there's just three big compartments and a zippered compartment on the flap. My bigger Crumpler bag has a bunch of pen slots and smaller zippered compartments. Those would have been nice in this bag.

I have other Crumpler bags for my camera, etc. and what I find is that they are extremely well built but not the easiest to use (poorly thought out storage and access, overkill velcro). I waited to write this review until after I had used the product for a couple of months to see if I warmed up to it. This bag is a great fit for a netbook. However, it likes to tip forward when you sit it down, even with only the computer and power cord in it. And with just the computer and a couple of flash drives and my aircard in the mesh flap pocket, I can only put one file folder with minimum contents in the front pocket area or the flap won't close far enough to stick the velcro down. Its almost as if you can put a few items in one section or pocket, but then you can't really put anything in another pocket or it won't close. Please don't misinterpret - I am not trying to put the kitchen sink into this bag, just bare necessities for using the computer and a couple of folders or a composition book. The velcro closure flap over the computer compartment is too long and gets in the way of accessing the front pocket area when its not stuck down. As with my other Crumpler bags, I would like to have had at least one external pocket for quick access to pens, keys, etc. I have remedied that by attaching a strap pocket. This bag was an excellent price for a well built product but I am now looking for something that works better. I will save this one for times when extra protection is needed.

It's a bit heavy when you consider that you are buying it for a mini(read light) notebook. The quality is excellent and the style is good, though.

Excellent look, fit and finish! I was looking for a properly sized laptop bag for our new 10 inch netbook and the Breakfast Buffet Laptop Bag was the ONE. My friends gave me great compliments. The bag is sturdy and stylish and unlike many messengers, it keeps its shape. I like it very much and for the price!.... even more!

I have a Dell Mini 9 Netbook and wanted a small messenger bag style, just right for my computer. This is it! High Quality. Nice look.

My only criticism of this bag is that the external pocket is difficult to get into and needs some spaces for pens/calculator, change. This bag does not hold more than 2" of papers in addition to a laptop. This is an advantage for me but may not be for everyone.

This bag is great. It fits my iBook with a 12 in screen perfect. The style would be a bit casual for a professional user but I love it.

My husband and I are Crumpler fans and this sturdy bag was purchased to serve as my daily work/home/after school bag. It is ideal for my 7 inch sub-notebook computer but struggles with anything A4 sized. When not carrying the notebook I use the laptop flap for drink bottles, snack boxes, small umbrella. If you need to carry books/documents and a laptop the Luncheon is possibly the better sized bag. Colour scheme and size mean my husband can carry it if he has to without embarrassment!

I have a tiny computer and have been looking for a stylish bag big enough for it without being too big and with room for documents and pens and cords. This works well for me.
