It is very lightweight and hasn't much structure - a loose weave, but soft hand. Color is okay, not stunning. It has a zip front closure inside buttons, so really not like a sportcoat, more like a jacket. The sleeves are a bit long. I was ready to send it back but showed it to my son, 26, who actually liked it, in part because he likes his sleeves long and it was sort of unusual, funky, as well as comfortable. STP price seems a bit much for what it is, but on sale, it is good value

Question “I am just wondering about the exact sizing of this jacket- what the shoulders and waist are for a M or L, as well as if it is a tailored or slim fit, or just normal blocking. I am hoping to estimate the best size for me: I am a 41 chest and just 6' tall, but typically need a size 42 jacket because of my shoulders, so for slim cuts I need a L, but in more traditional cuts I wear M.||Many thanks,|Mike”

Answer On the size medium the chest measures 42" shoulder to shoulder is 18" length 29" and the waist is 40". For the size large chest is 46" shoulder to shoulder is 20" length 30" and the waist measures 44".
