    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Will be fine for a light-weight cover, but certainly not jacket, or even sweater-weight duties. Nice material, appears well-made. True to size if the 100% cotton fabric does not shrink, not generously proportioned. Much lighter weight than it appears online. The knitted pocket portion in front adds bulk to the waistline.
