Cullen Cotton-Rich Cardigan Sweater - Snap Front, 3/4 Sleeve (For Women)

This was bought as a gift and I'm sure that the recipient will be absolutely delighted when she receives it. The quality is really remarkable and the sweater is made true to size of soft heavy cotton. This was a great buy.

This sweater is a great buy. It is so pretty and sooo soft. You can dress it up or simply wear it with a pair of jeans. I LOVE IT!!

Despite the reviews I read about the huge snaps and the 3/4 length sleeves, I ordered this sweater based on the Cullen brand. Sadly this sweater did not live up to my expectations. The length of the sleeve was ok because it is for spring. The large snaps pulled the shape of the sweater out of line so it had the look of something that was misshapen from being washed. Combined with the faded color, it looked like something that had been hanging in the back of the closet (and I have plenty of that type of thing).

Boxy style when I like to show off my narrow waist. I am returning it but wish the fit had worked. Especially like the color and quality. I would have worn it all the time in spring had it fit properly.

Every Cullen item I own is lovely in some way. But, some more than others. I love the baby blue I bought in this sweater and it's very comfortable. It looks stylish, too, and is plenty warm. In fact, it is too warm for me to wear over anything other than a cami. I would love it a great deal more, though, if it had full length sleeves, as the other reviewer also wrote. I think this was a bad design decision; sweaters are not particularly useful with "short" sleeves. I have found it difficult to find a good time to wear it since it IS quite warm, but then the lower part of my arm is exposed. It isn't really constructed to have something long sleeved hanging out from underneath it; it's too dressy for that. I like it enough that I kept it even though I've yet to wear it in a month plenty cool enough to have done so. It is otherwise so lovely and the price was quite lovely, too, that I can't bring myself to return it. I figure that there will be just the right weather/occasion to wear it sometime before I die and that I'll be glad I kept it. This isn't exactly a rousing rush out to buy it review and I feel badly about it because it IS pretty. Also, the snaps are quite heavy and it needs to be put on/off over the head as though it's a crew neck sweater, not a cardigan. I've only tried it on for size, but my opinion is that the snaps are too heavy for the knit and that the pull required to unsnap it would ultimately rip the sweater apart. The snaps would also pull down the sides of the sweater unattractively because of their weight. It's more of a jacket one never unfastens. I feel like I'm not doing justice to this garment. If it were ugly or useless, I'd return it. It's truly quite pretty, just not particularly versatile.

This sweater is great if you wear it buttoned all the time but if left open, the big snaps show... i'm considering taking them off so as to be able to wear it both ways.... i also wish the sleeves were full length...it's a great color, texture and style however.
