Reviewed by Le Matagot from Manchester NH on Friday, May 06, 2011As I am 4' 11" and 80 lbs., it is difficult to find adult clothing that fits and is somewhat age- neutral. Yes, the sleeves are a tad long --but as it has a gathered cuff, I don't have to fold the sleeve over or alter it. It is a light enough weight that it could be worn under a larger coat, while being just that much better than a sweater for cooler spring and fall days.

Reviewed by Disappointed from Los Angeles on Friday, March 19, 2010This garment is more like a big sweater since you can't wear much underneath, the facings are not sewn down so it gives an untidy appearance. Sleeves are really long, and I rarely find anything with long enough sleeves! It is too short to be classified as a coat. The color is beautiful but the design and fit are an overall puzzlement.

Definitely not a real "coat" and not nearly warm enough to serve as one. Would do for a fall day, but didn't care for the style which isn't really a sweater, or a jacket. Wish it had been better described. Had to return it - a real disappointment.

This is the first item I have returned. This "coat" is cute, but it is unlined and the boiled wool fabric is so lightweight it is almost the equivalent of felt. There is nothing imaginative about the design; the colors are trendy as is the snap closure, but the pull of the snaps on the unreinforced thin fabric may result in a fabric tear. It also snaps close only to about hip level leaving the remainder of the nearly knee length coat flapping open in the "breeze". I don't think it would provide as much warmth as a good sweater and the poor fabric quality and plain design does not warrant its price. Cullen's expertise is in knits and sweaters. The design team needs to return to the drawing board if it wants to expand into the coat market.
