“I own a large number of Cullen items and have been pleased by the design and construction of everything. This is the first item I have returned. This "coat" is cute, but it is unlined and the boiled wool fabric is so lightweight it is almost the equivalent of felt. There is nothing imaginative about the design; the colors are trendy as is the snap closure, but the pull of the snaps on the unreinforced thin fabric may result in a fabric tear. It also snaps close only to about hip level leaving the remainder of the nearly knee length coat flapping open in the "breeze". I don't think it would provide as much warmth as a good sweater and the poor fabric quality and plain design does not warrant its price. Cullen's expertise is in knits and sweaters. The design team needs to return to the drawing board if it wants to expand into the coat market.”
