“On the positive, this dress seems well-made, and has a cute look. It also could be layered with a T-shirt or blouse, or used as a tunic or jacket over slim pants or pencil skirt because it is on the short side. However, the Medium fit is close to the body--I am a size 8, 36B, so I think it runs a bit small. As a previous reviewer mentioned, this dress has a very high waist. I am not sure whether it is intended as a short-waisted petite cut or if it is an empire waist style. Whatever it is, the style is not flattering to my 5'4" frame, as it bows out below the belt. I am returning it regretfully, because the general style would have been very versatile.”
