I wish the shoe itself had a little more cushioning without the original insole, but still comfortable. Lots of room in the toe box even with thicker socks. Wearing thicker socks for more cushioning to make up for removing the original insole.

The one problem is that the joint of leathers up by the top laces near my toe is very hard and tough and rubs. It was hurting the top of my foot at the base of my big toe within 20 min. I solved this by loosening the laces and wearing a big band aid over that part of my foot. This is only on the right shoe, so it may be an aberration.
